Over the last 20 years, the Putnam City Public Schools
Foundation has invested more than $1 million in Putnam
City schools. The Foundation has built high school cultures
that foster learning, communication and support (Challenge Day), encouraged
children to read and write stories (Author Visits), provided classroom
equipment and computers (School Grants), recognized excellence in the
classrooms, and encouraged students and teachers to further their education
(Awards and Scholarships). Just
recently, the Foundation received the 2008 Outstanding Program Award by the
Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence.
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation is offering the John
Kirkpatrick Centennial Endowment Challenge.
With your help, we can greatly increase the Foundation’s endowment fund
at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
Any gifts made to our fund through December 31, 2008 will be matched dollar for dollar up to
$5,000. That’s a possible $10,000
increase!
As a member of our Putnam City community, won’t you
consider a gift to continue the legacy of our school district? Please consider a gift of $25, $50, $100 or
more to help us receive the full match available. Contributions must be made to the Oklahoma
City Community Foundation, PO Box 1146, OKC, OK 73101. Please specify Putnam City Schools
Foundation. Your contribution is fully
tax deductible.
Keeping our schools strong is important as parents, property
owners and citizens. I hope you will
consider a matching gift.
