What a fun day we had as over 100 golfers played in the Foundation's 11th annual golf tournament at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club on Monday, October 15th. They were helping to raise over $20,000 to benefit the teachers and students of the Putnam City District. Since 1987, the Foundation has invested over $950,000 in funding for grants, scholarships, awards and other worthwhile programs for the Putnam City schools.
The wonderful volunteers for this year's golf tournament included board members Lisa Taylor and Chris Byrom (tournament co-chairs), Jeff Kysar, John Limber, Winston Lewis and Priscilla Cude. Spouses of board members who took time out of their busy schedules to help included Susan Whittington and Kari Byrom. Other community volunteers were Kristin Dyson, Darlene Lundeen, Charlotte Gronewald, Haley Atalla, and Donna Houchin (who took many wonderful photos of our event-Thank you Donna!)
