On September 19, 2007, the PC Foundation sponsored an eight-page supplement in The Oklahoman. The purpose of this $6,000 project was to educate the local community that surrounds and supports the schools about the district's strengths and challenges they face.
Pages were dedicated to describing the school district, technology, staff, including testimonials from graduates, frequently asked questions and how to learn more.
Our community is invested in the schools. They want to know that our teachers and administrators are doing a good job of educating the students. The Putnam City Public Schools Foundation is working with the district to inform the community about the success in Putnam City Schools.
Community supporters of the project are:
Buffalo Wild Wings, First Bethany Bank, Deaconess Hospital and Dr. Kenneth Whittington. .
